Exploring the filming location of "James Bond 007 Tomorrow Never Dies " The Phang Nga Bay Tour is one of our most popular programmed, showcasing the dramatic beauty of Phang Nga Bay and neighboring island. The days also include a visit to the Muslim community at Panyee Island.
Kao Ping-Kan The name means literally leaning mount. It is really a huge rock split in two; the smaller half has slid down and the remaining one appears now to be leaning. Though Kao Ping-kan is a very small island, Kao Tapoo or James Bond Island, is in a little bay of Kao Ping-Kan where visiting boats pull up. Tapoo means nail, and this shore less rock projects up from the sea as its name implies; flat and wide at the top and very narrow at waterline.
The itinerary and timing above are approximate and may be modified without notice to fit the tide and local weather conditions.
